Access Control

Automated gates are an increasingly popular way of controlling entry into your home or business premises. They offer protection whilst at the same time enhancing the appearance of your property. Gates are a very visual and physical deterrent to unwanted intruders; whilst at the same time they enable families with young children to rest assured that their children can play securely and safely within the boundaries of their property.

We offer a wide range of gate designs in wrought iron or timber, or alternatively we can provide a bespoke solution. Our experience in this area of security enables us to offer security solutions to suit your specific requirements, combined with a design that is in keeping with the style and appearance of your property.

Gates

There are two main types of gate – swing and sliding. Where sliding gates are operated by a motor mechanism, swing gates can be fitted with either an underground operator or a surface mounted ram.

Barriers

In addition to standard car park barriers with arms, we also install hydraulic rising bollards.

Safety devices

Safety is extremely important. In order to prevent gates closing on people or vehicles, our systems are fitted with photoelectric beams across the route of the gate, which will open, stop or reverse the cycle should it be obstructed.

In addition we can install underground induction loops, which sense the presence of vehicles and operate in the same way as photoelectric beams.

Control Systems

Entry control systems can include key switching, proximity or card-entry systems, hand held transmitters or video entry phone links. Exit control systems may include photoelectric beams and concealed under-ground induction loops.
